Hey there! I’m Julia, a freelance copywriter with over thirteen years of experience crafting compelling narratives and captivating campaigns.

A very brief bio: I studied English Literature and Art History, worked at art galleries, found that too boring (except for the incident when a cleaner vacuumed part of a very expensive styrofoam sculpture), moved to Berlin, did one copy test, and started at Jung von Matt soon after. I believe that – when done right – advertising is the very opposite of boring. It can spark joy, provoke thought, and inspire action. And being part of that process should be fun!

Hera are five other things I consider fun:

1. Watching films (yay for my MUBI subscription!).

2. Pottery (I’m a master at wheel-throwing wonky cups).

3. Exploring the great outdoors (especially with my furry sidekick, Pippo).

4. Taking analog photographs.

5. Yoga (little-known fact: I’m a certified yoga teacher).
